长期空置的独立屋是否存在安全隐患？即便是在治安相对较好的西温，又有哪些潜在风险需要提前防范？继3月初关于青少年身心健康与安全的讲座之后，西温哥华警察局的Jack Yee警官将再次走进华人社区，为大家送上安全锦囊！联合4921书屋，带来一场关于暑期社区安全、防盗防灾的实用讲座，帮助居民安心度夏、无忧出行。
Are long-term vacant homes a safety concern? Even in a safe area like West Vancouver, potential risks still exist and should be addressed in advance. Following his well-received talk in March on youth mental health and safety, Constable Jack Yee from the West Vancouver Police Department will once again connect with the Chinese community to offer practical safety tips.

We are honored to invite Officer Jack Yee, the School Liaison Officer (SLO) from the West Vancouver Police Department, to 4921Reading Room to share insights into his daily work. He will provide a detailed introduction on how he collaborates with schools and community organizations to support children's physical and mental well-being. Additionally, he will give an in-depth talk on online safety for teenagers, helping parents and children better navigate the challenges of the digital world.

COSMOS | The Profound World" is an art exhibition specially prepared by True Colors Gallery, mainly showcasing a large number of abstract artworks by Mr. Li Xuan. For this exhibition, True Colors Gallery has invited Ms. Song from the West Wen Art Museum as the Chinese guide, guiding public to interpret Mr. Li Xuan's works and explore the spiritual world behind his creations.

In the golden October, we enthusiastically organized two online/offline events. With everyone's support, our activities achieved remarkable results. Community books, especially various high-quality Chinese reading resources for children transported from China to Canada, were able to circulate and be shared .

过去两年，我们为会员朋友们们组织了各种主题的读书会，好评如潮。也会收到父母们的反馈，可不可以安排一些给孩子的阅读活动呢？从小培养阅读兴趣——义不容辞！暑假伊始，集思广益，我们为小朋友们准备了一场丰富的读书活动！
We have organized various themed book clubs for our member friends, and have received great feedback. It is our duty to cultivate children's interest in reading from an early age! At the beginning of the summer vacation, we put our heads together and prepared a rich reading event for the kids.
About 4921 Reading Room Society 关于我们
4921 Reading Room Society is a non-profit cultural institution legally registered in the BC Province, Canada. We offer over 1000 high-quality Chinese books for members to borrow. Additionally, we have hundreds of children's Chinese books available for everyone to exchange free of charge.
4921 中文书屋是在加拿大BC省合法注册的非盈利文化机构。目前4921中文书屋拥有千余册精选中文图书，供会员借阅。另外数百册品相完好的儿童中文书籍供会员无偿交换和领取。
High-qualify reading events, information sessions and programs are regularly to present to the public.
